As a Licensed Clinical Therapist, I utilize gentle but effective techniques in helping individuals live an authentic life. I assist individuals in finding purpose and living life in a meaningful way. The journey in doing this begins in identifying negative strongholds that prevent honest living. Learning how to deconstruct and replace these strongholds with a newer set of realitlies allow clients to live freely, and peacefully within. ![]()
Working under a humanistic framework, I strive to help clients achieve self-acceptance, even in the midst of despair. I find that people can only be who they are… So, in practice, I strive not to “change” anyone but to help individuals improve their disposition, attitudes, or point of views. And, in turn, help them to appreciate their differences, value their self-worth, improve their strengths, and live in harmony with themselves and others.
Through therapeutic exercises, cognitive-behavioral techniques are used. Clients learn to uncover and restructure faulty thinking, which help them to take on new and positive perspectives. This new way of thinking, reduces stress and improves moods over time. It also improves relationships, work/school performance, and individual growth.
My specialty includes treating mood/anxiety disorders, eating disorders and addictions, relationship issues, parenting difficulties, children disorders and learning disabilities. I provide therapy to individuals, children and couples in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere.
I alo perform an array of assessments/evaluations for therapy treatment and academic, occupational, and residential placement.
